Management Accountant

We have a fantastic opportunity for an organised and pro-active individual to join the Finance department as a Management Accountant. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and detail-oriented, with a desire to develop their career.

We are seeking a technically strong Management Accountant to take ownership of the month-end close process and preparation of accurate, timely management accounts, while maintaining robust balance sheet control within a dynamic hospitality and gaming environment. 

The role includes oversight and review of transactional finance outputs, including reconciliations and payment approvals. 

Alongside core reporting responsibilities, you will support monthly hospitality P&L reporting and prepare quarterly VAT and Gaming Duty calculations for review by the Director of Financial Operations.

What we're looking for:

•             ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience.

•             Proven experience preparing and owning monthly management accounts.

•             Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and ledger control.

•             Experience reviewing transactional finance work.

•             Advanced Excel skills.

•             Sage 200 experience desirable.

•             Organised, analytical and detail focused.

•             Able to communicate financial information clearly to finance and non-finance stakeholders.

•             Be over 18 years of age.

This role is suited to a management accountant who takes ownership of reporting, controls and accuracy, while contributing practical insight to support operational performance.
