Dealer

The Hippodrome Casino is seeking experience Dealers to join our Live Table Gaming team. You will expertly operate assigned gaming tables, cultivate strong relationships with our diverse clientele, and uphold the integrity of all operations.

You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of your assigned live gaming table, while maintaining the highest standards to ensure the maximum comfort and enjoyment for all the Hippodrome’s customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct table games including Roulette, Blackjack, Three Card Poker, and other casino games in line with company and regulatory standards.
• Create a welcoming and engaging environment for our players.
• Ensure game integrity and compliance with all procedures, applying knowledge of AML and SR regulations.
• Handle chips, cards, and cash transactions quickly, but accurately.
• Promote responsible gaming and uphold licencing requirements.
• Work collaboratively with inspectors, Gaming Management, and fellow dealers to ensure your game runs smoothly.

Who We're Looking For:

• You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience and you will have dealt or have been trained to deal Roulette, Blackjack & Three card poker.
• You must hold a current Personal Functional Licence.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
• Proven experience dealing in a high volume casino environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness and ability to work a shift pattern, which may include night shifts and weekends.
• Be 18 years of age or older.

Shifts:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week, providing three consecutive days off (currently available from the start date), or;
• Five 8-hour shifts per week, with all shifts concluding by 10:00 PM (availability limited and subject to a waiting list).
• Part-time positions are available and we'll be happy to discuss the details with you at your interview.
